Marriages are beautiful and wonderful and a blessing to enjoy. but everlasting Joy is in the Lord. Your marriage is a wonderful Covenant with God and your spouse.  Marriage is like a song where the Lord's sweet Melody of love comes from two hearts joined as one .Harmony , joy and peace will never grace a home ruled by expectations instead of by the cross. Humans cannot change God's design for his creation including marriages. We don't set the rules for marriage; God does. Marriage helps us to understand the character of God himself as we stick with our spouse through the good times and the bad. I believe every wedding gives birth to a new history , a new life , a new beginning. The spiritual meaning of marriage is found in maintaining that history together. I think that couples who make it aren't the ones who never had a reason to get divorce .they are simply the ones who decide early on that there commitment to each other was always going to get bigger than there differences and flaws. A happy life , a happy marriage needs God at the center of it. Enjoy God more than the temporary things this world has to offer. The secret of a happy life is giving God the first part of your day , the first priority to every decision , and the first place in your life.  Matthew 6:33. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
