1st Corinthians 13: 4 through 7 

                       LOVE 

How do you define love inside your heart The dictionary defines love as a deep intense feeling of deep affection and I'm sure that's the feeling you had for your spouse in beginning love is deeper than physical attraction God is love and has demonstrated that love in everything that he does .Paul Compares faith, hope and love and concludes that the greatest of these is love .how can you fully love your spouse without fully loving God. Our  love however it's easily misdirected it's objects tend to become the creation rather than the Creator. it loses sight of the external for the temporal it focus on the self often to the exclusion of God and others. we become idolaters, focusing a part of our love elsewhere.The love of God must fill your heart first then you will be able to give your spouse the agape type of Love they deserve let the love of God flow through you into your spouse. Love in its truest sense is not based on feelings. rather , love determines to show thoughtful actions even when there seems to be no reward . ask yourself how can I apply  these five things into my marriage . kindness, gentleness , helpfulness , willingness , initiative. Jesus creatively describe the kindness of love in his parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke chapter 10.   What are u putting first ?
